Every Spring I feel overwhelmed with stuff- from the clothes my kids have outgrown to the linens that seem to multiply over the winter… it’s all consuming. Purging this weekend I gave a thought to hanging some art that I have had stacked against a wall for ages. You know, I just couldn’t do it. Maybe I just don’t have enough wall space- or that the pieces I have to hang are not a “collection” but the thought of putting a wall of art together left me cold, (don’t get me wrong I have an “ art wall” in my bedroom and I love the look). Maybe it’s all just tied into the visual clutter thing- less is more right?

I do love this art wall- it feels grown up and curated.

But there is certainly something to be said about the power of a single piece of art within an interior, something to consider..
