There is nothing as fresh and pretty as a old clapboard house painted white and blanketed in snow. This heartbreaker has an extra 51 acres of farmland to go with the old farmhouse. Modest in size, though it is still nicely appointed — just look at that lovely trim surrounding the missing front door (I can only imagine this house will fall faster now that snow can make its way in so easily).

With some love, could it have been a smaller version of Martha Stewart’s beloved Turkey Hill? Perhaps, but now we will never know. Sigh.
