I always find myself feeling torn this time of year when it comes to seasonal decorating.  Is it fall?  Is it winter?  Is it (gasp) time to trek out the holiday decor?!  I’ve noticed more than a few of my neighbours taking advantage of the warmer weather to deck their outdoor halls this past week but I have to say, I’m not quite ready!  But I will admit, it’s feeling awfully chilly out there and my grey & white pumpkins and fall wreath are feeling, well, out of season.  Leave it to Anthropologie to inspire some creative seasonal decor using “Found” objects (pun intended)!

I love the idea of pulling out all those mittens-without-a-mate I’ve been holding onto for some unknown reason and using them to create a wintery, yet colourful custom wreath (think this could work for mis-matched socks too??).  It says winter without being  necessarily holiday and could stay up right through until spring.  I also think their use of classic wooden hangers as deer antlers is genius!  I seriously need to find out what the folks in their display department are eating because they are gooooood.
