November 14th, 2011

As you may know by now (from a previous blog post) Bev Hisey is our new Found Picker at the shop ( She is a super talented lady, and also a very supportive gal. Bev has a studio space in our hood and very graciously has let us take the window over for a bit- so this past weekend we got to measuring, sawing, nailing, painting and styling.

The floor was a challenge as it is considerably lower than where the window proper begins. We fudged the height with some construction skids (which are very heavy- just sayin’), and then layered in some great old wooden planks.

We then tarted up the floor up with fallen antlers and this fab old basket (nice for texture).

Piled up these great tea crates that we found (end tables anyone?)…

And tucked in some lovely new finds (which will be on the site soon).

Voila! A heck of a lot of work but super chic (if you ask us).

Thanks Bev! (and thanks Angus for selling us your ladder)
