November 21st, 2011

I am all over art these days, largely due to my new favorite TV program “Fake or Fortune” (love it! Thursday nights at 9 on TVO). If you’re like me you scour flea markets and tag sales and always look for drawings and paintings. I can’t help it, I’m not looking to find the next Mona Lisa but just that something that can be layered into an interior to help bring it to life. Don’t be shy what you love, and go big and bold with flea market finds.

I couldn’t resist this little watercolour I found recently. It needs a bit of TLC (and a new frame).

Also don’t forget paper bits and photographs. The more diverse your collection, the more interesting your home will be.

Some inspiration just below..

You have to love the sight-line through this door at Thomas O’Briens NY Apt.

Nice how colour is very thoughtful in this hall designed by Steven Gambrel

Art en masse, again a Steven Gambrel design.

We are three gals on the go. Two are stylists. The third is an interior designer. We all love stuff. We are paid to find stuff. We love stuff so much, we could easily end up with too much stuff. Here is where you come in...
