Okay, so I shouldn’t imply I own a house in the south of France. But even just one week in an old stone farmhouse like this can truly be called living. A recent vacation took me to Corlac House, a rental property in rural southwestern France, near the Dordogne River and close to a small village named Sarrazac. Along with a great group of friends, we secured Corlac for a week of feasting, swimming, drinking, adult dancing and touring the beautiful countryside.

Take a look at Corlac House today.

Our foodie friends made a sauce out of these grapes for the nightly foie gras on toast.

Imagine every lunch under the canopy of leaves, especially when the daily noon-time offering was something like this:

And the views were spectacular, whether walking into town or driving the Citroen to a local medieval village for some touring about.
