Our first Found Picker, Tommy Smythe, spent a few sunny Sundays at some country flea markets to get us the goods to sell. While we are thrilled with the things he found, we also think they have a distinctly Tommy flavour — handsome, graphic, newly traditional, masculine and memorable (different from our own finds but very complimentary to what we do). All look much like the room seen below, an old small-space apartment of Tommy’s once shot for Canadian House & Home magazine.
Lucky us, and lucky Found shoppers, Tommy is also going to part with a couple of personal pieces, including the graphic zigzag red and white quilt seen in situ above, and below. We all agree that quilt just makes that room, so we know it will do the same for the shopper who buys the standout piece.
Other Tommy finds (and there are many) have the same feel and would easily fit into one of his personal spaces. Take a look at what he found:
So check out Found on Wednesday, September 7th — the day Tommy’s finds hit our store.
