Humour me readers, I know this is a silly post but I couldn’t resist. Doing the product shots for our online store required “building” a mini-set in my front bay window by using old wood flooring or a piece of stainless steel atop my desk (seen here) and at times a little Shaker-style backdrop we made out of leftover wood trims from reno projects. Funnily enough, it worked and looked pretty good. But the other part of the process was working with my ¬†temperamental “mini art director”, my kitten (The Pancake, a.k.a. Pancakers, Cakers, The Cake). Taking a look at these shots in sequence, ¬†it seems she didn’t like my floral styling and had to take control of the shoot.
