July 25th, 2011

So this has been a long time coming…and here we are – finally!  Admittedly, I’m feeling a little late to the blog party but I think (I hope!) you’ll enjoy our experiences, our ideas and, most importantly, our Finds for many posts to come.  My uber-creative girlfriends and I have lots of fun things in store for you – literally!  How excited are we that a little idea we had for an online shop, (longer ago than we care to admit) is finally coming to fruition?!  Well, pretty damn excited I tell you.  August 8th is the day when Found (the store) will open it’s online doors…so mark your calendars and be sure to check it out.  But before that happens, I’m going to take you back a bit to where things began – with a storefront.  Picture it, a New York style store facade – complete with columns, corbels, mile-high doors & windows…even a fire escape – sketched line-drawing style, gracing the homepage of our store.  Sigh.  I mean, if you can’t have an actual storefront with a NYC zip code then this has got to be the next best thing, right?

Check out some out some of these beauties from our inspiration file…

I mean, come on!  Gorgeous, right?

A lover of grey & white, clearly I was into a bit of a theme here…

This last one, with it’s For Lease sign, had me packing up my husband, dog and life in general to open something, ANYTHING, here in this piece of stunning real estate!

We are three gals on the go. Two are stylists. The third is an interior designer. We all love stuff. We are paid to find stuff. We love stuff so much, we could easily end up with too much stuff. Here is where you come in...
